That happened back in 1991, so I don't remember exactly, but I do remember I had the best score on that stage for the day. It kind of ticked off a couple of the guys that could usually out-shoot me with their raceguns (unlimited class compensated pistols if you aren't familiar with the term). :D

Yah, I know about raceguns. I'm a range officer, ya know. That must have been in the 3-4 second range then. Pretty good, standing away from the targets, turn and draw, 2 shots per, mandatory reload and another 2 shots per. And all with a Glock. :D

I garnered a couple trophies in our local competitions too, some with a Glock 22.

i think the article is just the plain truth. one don't be an idiot and stay away from where the animals are and if you get into a situation act like a complete and total psychopath wielding whatever weapon you have. I used this once when i was drunk off my butt in Vancouver in my early 20s. I woke up and decided to go for a stroll by myself, my buddy was sleeping it off still. i saw 2 guys following me so i crossed the street, then back tracked and they were still foloowing me. checking in the store windows i waited till they got closer and then grabbed hold of a street sign, spun real fast towards them and started screaming at the top of my lungs YOU WANNA FIGHT ME MOTHER&^)^S? they actually jumped back and turned around and left, the bluff worked :D .

Doc, this story is for you :p . Seriously, who freaking robs a clown?? one less idiot that my taxes have to pay for his incaceration or welfare, a job well done officer and i am happy you are safe.

Thanks for story Tony....all I can say is you got that one right!....You never know if a clown is a true Bozo, or some off-duty Clown waiting for a Bozo to try something stupid like this fool attempted.....That being said you never know when clowning around will lead to something more dangerous....Doc :D

I like your article Doc and I totally agree with your view on the subject!

If a group or any number of individuals is about to attack you... you have no other choice than to be brutal and vicious in your initial/counter attack!

Those people have fun beating the living **** of another person or kill the person and should be treated the same way.

The moment they violate your right to live and to be unharmed... you will violate theirs!

They will harm you... they will injure you... maybe kill you!

This is pure survival and no time to think about consequences by law or restrictions.

You have to be sure that you put them down as fast as you can and that your attacks count. No hesitation, no waiting for the group to stop after you attack. Do not return into defensive mode but continue to attack until they retreat and start running. It may work of maybe not! You may survive the attack or will die... but at least you took some with you!

This is your only chance in a scenario like this.
