Assist vs. Atlantic or Pacific Salt

Don't get me wrong, the Caspian looks sweet! I saw some videos on YouTube about it. I like the fact that with that large grip hole you can, to a degree, use your fingers to tie knots, do other things, etc. while retaining the knife in your hand. I just don't have a good enough reason to buy it right now. I looked in the Spyderco catalog and didn't see the serrated edge currently listed. Is that model still available? Was it ever available with a full serrated edge?

Only combo edge. You can pick between a blunt or a sharp tip.

Just ordered the Atlantic Salt. Will keep in my pocket when out fishing in Monterey Bay.
