first real good day in a week-lol
wont find out about the type of tumor till friday-doc said even if its cancer he carved enough out that i shouldnt need chemo(sp)

i look like i was in a knife fight i have so many holes in me- :eek: ;)

pain medication-i dont need no stinkin pain medication- :D :D :D :D :D :D

just wolfed down a tuna sub and a handful of snickers minis

i havent taken any pain meds since saturday- 2-3 tylenol thats all

the pain meds and anti nausea meds were what almost killed me-
every time they gave me some it just made matters worse-

i will take the pain

I'm the same way. I've had about a dozen operations and both the anesthetic and the pain killers always make me sick. glad to hear your prognosis is so good. A friend made it through kidney cancer but they caught his late and he almost didn't make it.

Glad it wasn't worse and that it will continue to get better. Best wishes.

Glad to hear that you are doing better. I get regular migraines and have a "thinking" job. Some of the pain meds mess with your head, so I will pre-cut or bite a pill so that I am only taking a half or so at a time. Some of the hydrocodone pills are larger, so you can cut them into thirds and then take a smaller dose at a time. You can follow up with the next third a bit later etc. It works for me. Take Care

just got back - it was cancer-

looks like xrays every 6 months for a few years at least-

The word itself is enough to scare the heck out of you. The upshot is that you'll have a couple of tense days twice a year.
