Native!! Pinned construction awesomeness!

#1

Post by kawr »

I just got a Spyderco Native by trading off my last Benchmade knife in my collection and I love the pinned construction. It honestly feels more solid than any of the screwed construction FRN models I have come across. I also love the fact that I dont have to mess around with the pivot. I was wrong to hate on pinned construction models because it really is convenient and very solid. Nothing I hate more than spending countless minutes adjusting pivots :p .

I have really enjoyed the Native lightweight (pinned construction) for a long time. I am also excited about the Native 5!

Me too! It's like a quiet old dog that knows you perfectly and doesn't need to bark like a lot of the young pup knives do to get ur attention. Love it's honesty, no make up and still doable.

i have used my native often, recently though i had to choose a knife to keep in a bug out bag and chose the native. so as its a tough and reliable tool with its simple design i figured it was the best one i had for a knife i might have to rely on as a survival edc.
my knives:
