So sweet the G-10 Navigator with the wire clip. Now I wonder if you could fit a reversed "S" Meerkat blade to a Navigator

I just thought I should point out, because it isn't obvious from the photograph, that the wire clip isn't sitting on the handle, Ron has hand carved a channel into the G-10 slabs so the clip is recessed into the handle like it is on the Meerkat. Looking GREAT

I asked Ron to do the conversion for a number of reasons, partly because I'm a G-10 adict and have always wanted a G-10 Navigator, partly because I have become a great fan of the new style wire clips (definately NO relation to the wire clips on the Q) they are very secure, don't snag as much, and are a lot more discreet than the normal clips, and partly I asked him to do it because it is great to have a knife custom tailored to your needs

Thanks Ron.

It's not as easy as it looks guys, the slot has to be milled by hand around the center hole which BTW doesn't leave much room to work with.
I had to use the round headed screws from the Meerkat, which those had to be hand fitted to length because they went all the way through.
Mind you i'm not complaining I enjoyed doing it because it was a new challange.
If I could change 1 thing I don't like about this conversion it would be the screw heads.
It's not gonna be a fast draw, but then again this wasn't Yogs reason for wanting this done.
It completely dissapears in the pocket now, all you see is the small clip, anyone wouldn't even know it were there.
Thanks for all the kind comments guys, I truely love making exactly what a customer wants. Ron
