If it were me... I'd jump on that deal. Just based on value alone. You can find Enduras all over the web for $50, but you'd be hard pressed to find a PM2 for under $100. I'd imagine the guy just wants a little larger blade or a lighter knife, but I'd make sure he's not trying to dump a busted knife off on you. The PM2 is a great knife, and you may find you like the flat grind a little better. I did. Anyway, whatever decision you make is right. The Endura is still my favorite knife (but w/ a flat grind), but the PM is definately up there too.

No-brainer, I'd say.

I'm an admirer of Spyderco's designs. Using them is like immersing yourself in music or studying a painting in a museum. I buy some "fine" art but my preference is for usable art.
Do it!!!!

:spyder: So different SPIDIES . . . . Only the SPIDIEhole is the same and ofcoarse the quality of the products . . . . PM2 is a very nice (AWSOME) SPIDIE . . . . Measure your needs because i think that the build of the endura's blade is more robust than the one of the PM2 (SG against FFG). . . . As for the tip of the PM2, is not so strong as the ENDURA's tip . . . . Although good choice either of them . . . . Enjoy your SPIDIES . . . .

I actually just gave my endura FFG away to my friend, and picked up a para 2. The para 2 is just such a cleanly executed cutting machine that I'm very happy. The para is fatter at the spine, but feels thinner at the edge. What a nice knife!
