replacement knife, cara2 or tenacious?

#1

Post by jimnolimit »

one of my co-workers really likes my cara cara 2 G10. he isn't one to order items from the net and asked to buy it from me. i told him i would sell it for the price i paid for it. before i order another cara , i was thinking about getting a tenacious instead. should i try the tenacious?

p.s. the cara cara 2 G10 was the first and only chinese made spyderco i've ever bought and i think it's a really good value knife.

I don't have a cara-cara but I can tell you that my Tenacious and Persistence are the best bang for the buck knives that I have.

:spyder: I have them both . . . . Not so crazy for CARA-CARA2 (I like better the ENDURA4 FFG) . . . . Love my TENACIOUS . . . . More strudy and compact than CARA-CARA2, a bit smaller blade, better blade shape, strudier blade, faster opening, a very nice all around folder . . . . My vote goes to . . . . T E N A C I O U S . . . . :) :spyder:

Actually, from a user perspective, I like the Cara-Cara2 better. The ergos and blade profile matches a Stretch2 quite closely. And I rather lose a bit of cutting edge for a finger choil.
