Do any of you keep your Spyderco boxes?

I have 5 spydies and I've kept the boxes to each one. Any of you do that or do you throw them away?

Yep, I keep all the boxes to all my knives. I knew I was heading in the right direction when I needed to make separate storage just for Spyderco boxes haha

I learned a sad lesson years ago with firearms and now I save ALL knife boxes. IMHO , they can add up to 10-20% of the price when you need to resell.

I only keep my boxes because everyone else does. Besides, I can sell them for $10 each...kidding. :D . Im not a big box junkie - basically keep them to keep them - until my drawer runs out of space. Hard to rationalize storage for cardboard and air...

I usually only throw away boxes for the knives I'll "never sell". These are the only ones I have sold and without boxes, haha.

I keep them just because when I sell them I know you people will want the box too! :D

I tend to be picky about keeping things uncluttered and getting rid of things i dont need. However I keep all of my knife boxes, these things are so expensive. Might aswell keep the box to them.

I keep them, but i was thinking more for the purpose of shipping them back to Golden if i ever have to...i'll have the perfect size box for it.

Yeah, I keep all of mine in the attic - I don't plan to sell any of my knives but you never know and, as people have said, it will add some value to the knife. :) Of course, if the knife is a user and the condition is poor then there is not much point in selling it with a box but the box alone is worth something so you can always sell it to collectors :)

:spyder: I keep the boxes of my "collection safe queens" SPIDIES and not the ones i have for my EDC or other purposes (too many of them for keeping their boxes) . . . . :) :spyder:

I keep all my boxes, if for nothing else but to have the manufacture date code on the boxes for future reference.

As a collector, I keep all of them, even the ones for my users. Although I don't often sell a knife, having the box does add to resale value and, if I'm giving one as a gift, the box makes it easier to warp. Plus, if I do decide to move, the boxes will make packing them all up easier.
