yeah i'm confused. got the kc newsletter and the feature items were the stretch and the dfly2 in zdp, in stock. probably sold out the first stock on pre-orders, so it might never have even said in stock on the website.

Talked to KC today. Yesterday they were shown as in stock on their site, the gentleman from customer support said they went through all they had yesterday and he expected more on Monday or Wed.

Received my new Dfly2 ZDP in the mail today from Jim Howe. First thing I did was remove the wire clip - then I tied a short lanyard with a couple of diamond knots and a brass five-flute Atwood Lanslide. I've found that a short lanyard like this gives my hand a much better grip on the knife when opening and closing.

So far, so good! The Dfly2 is an extraordinary blade.

Got an email from Jim. My Dragonfly ZDP will be in the mail tomorrow. :)

He said he got a new shipment today (I was also told there was a previous batch for Premier/Collectors orders last week) if anyone here were waiting like me.

Can't wait! :D

Seems like I'll be waiting a a while for mine. Given the tragedy in Japapn it is not surprising. I wish the Japanese people the best in getting their infrastructure and economy back up to speed.....

Got mine in the mail today. This little knife is awesome. This is the sharpest knife I have received to date.

Just recieved notice mine was shipped :D . It'll be fun to compare/contrast with the Urban which has been my favorite smaller knife for quite some time.

Got a package from Roger today! My First Spyderco for 2011. I ordered it Wed night when I noticed it was in stock. Shipped Thurs and arrived Sat. Wow, thanks for the fast service Knifeworks and USPS. No need to preorder if you are fast enough (and refresh the order page every day)

This green is going to be difficult to take a pic of. Mine is centered and shaves arm hair with ease. The wire clip isn't sunk in as much as other wire clip knifes leaving the bolt sticking up a bit more. I guess this is the compromise Spyderco had to make on thin unlined FRN. I'm wearing green khakis today and it blends right in.

Got a zdp dragonfly2 on the way. :)

Just wondering if I would be able to swap the blade out and slot it into the scales of the Dragonfly FG g10 without having to make any adjustments?

Ditto, I'm definitely gonna give it a try when my BRG comes in!

The ZDP is much harder than the lockbar in the G-10 DFly, and so the lockbar would wear out more swiftly than it's supposed to. (My understanding is that the lockbars in ZDP knives either are themselves ZDP, or of similar hardness.)
