What knife would pair well with the delica? It does not have to be a spyderco.

On work days I use a ladybug or a crkt peck to compliment my delica.

On weekends I wear my endura ffg to compliment a se delica.

I'm looking forward to a ss balance for my workdays to compliment my delica.

+1 to Ladybug if you are looking for a smaller secondary knife. If your Delica is PE, maybe a SE Ladybug. If you want a smaller one but with a clip, a Dragonfly2 or Cricket, again consider the different edge types. :D
But what is it that you exactly are looking for?

I've been carrying a Victorinox Compact with my SE ZDP-189 Delica.

HI,
Without really knowing what Your use requirements are, I would usually carry something smaller ,such as a Dragonfly, Urban, Cricket, Ladybug, or a UKPK which You can just slip in the watch pocket of Your jeans. I find any of these to be very complimentary to My Delica. I find the Delica generally handles most of My EDC chores, but I would imagine a lot of us carry the newest that We bought, just to have and admire it, and possibly to show it to friends. If it's the same size or bigger than the Delica, I usually put it in a knife pouch worn on My belt. If I wear cargo type pants, I may have one in each cargo pocket as well. I just like to carry them and have them on Me to play with, break in, or work on. I generally have at least 4 on My person at all times, and just look for any excuse to use them. I'll bet if I asked, I would not be alone in the number that I carry , and others carry even More. You May find Yourself, that two are not enough. Well, that is My 2 cents worth on this subject, hope it helped.

P.S. I have lots of other brands and I still love them, but mostly I just carry Spyderco knives now. They are very addictive!!!! Please let Us know what You have decided on, Spyderco or another brand.
Thanks,
Charlie

If its a plain edge, look at something in SE. Maybe a Dragonfly.

A lot of people seem to be suggesting a smaller knife. I say...Military

Yeah really the question is go bigger or smaller. Only you can really assess your needs. Bigger, Manix 2 or Millie.
Smaller...well there are probably a dozen you could go with there. Dragon fly is really appealing to me as my next little pocket folder, you could go with something like a ladybug on your keys, so many choices for smaller.

I did forget the Dragonfly. I regularly wear that one as well. It fits perfectly in the watch pocket.

+1 for the Dragonfly2. It is a perfect complement for the Delica.

I would recommend going bigger - such as a Paramilitary2, or Millie - but there isn't a whole lot that you can't do with a Delica... And EDC'ing the big guys might be a bit overkill for everyday use...

I often carry a Wenger Standard Issue or Alox Soldier. The tools are useful and it is a good lending knife when somebody says "may I borrow your knife?"

I take a Ladybug to the office with me everyday, and I often carry the Delica + Ladybug combo on the weekends, so I can attest that they work well together.

That said, I recently picked up a few rescue blades and I really like pairing the Spyderedged sheep's foot blade of my UKPK Rescue with the FFG PE Delica.

Harpy and Tasman are other good choices that I would like to explore some day. Unfortunately, I keep getting out bid

(Keep in mind, my suggestions were made under the assumption that you wanted another folder that was Delica-sized or smaller.)

Victorinox Tinker. I carry it for the other tools and to have a clean blade used only for food. It is also less scary than the Delica for non-knife people.

+1 on a SAK. I personal like the minichamp or the super tinker. Delica as main cutter, SAK for everything else. I rotate knives but always have an SAK as it comes in very handy. I just try to make sure that I have one with a phillips head on it.

Depending on if you are looking at the delica as a small or large knife, I would pick a Cricket or a Millie.
On order: Maxamet Native 5
Current pocket hog: S90V Para2
Next up: Something Blurple
