Pretty sure WTB posts are off-limits.

Ah, I'm only a member of one other forum and the edit function there only lasts for a short time after the post ... I don't frequently post here.

Yea, the Yojimbo 2 was release last November I believe. It sold out in no time. The second batch hasn't
been released yet and there are pre-orders that will eat up many of that batch. Hopefully though it will
be released sometime this summer. I have one and it is a quality knife. One of my favorites, right there
with the Military in my opinion..

Thanks Bal. I have both the Yojimbo 1 and the Yojimbo 2. rolyat1978's post read like there was yet another version, and I thought he may be indicating a new iteration of the Yojimbo2 based on Spyderco's CQI. Just like after they released the first batch of the Gayle Bradley, but then subsequent releases contained a slight modification (skeltonized liners to reduce weight); also after the release of the first batch of the PM2, but then subsequent releases contained a slight improvement in the "tab" position of compression lock mechanisim.

So my question is, is rolyat1878 just getting caught up with old news and celebrating the Yojimbo2, OR does he know of a Yojimbo2 with improvements?

Understood.
Actuallly there is a new double bladed Yo in the works called the
Yo-Yo. You throw it and it comes back. Maybe that's what he means.

They're still trying to correct a flaw in the boomerang action that makes the knife come back to the thrower point first.

I think that's also old news first reported by a Spyderco summer intern named "Stumpy" who was testing the prototype. Has anyone heard from Stumpy lately?

Maybe there is a need for a Yo-Yo trainer.
