Need help with custom Tenacious

#1

Post by nabobz »

Hi everyone. I have made some white maple scales but I am having some issues getting the blade centered. These are my practice scales. I have some walnut blanks roughed out for my finals but I thought I'd better try out my skills on something else first. Any ideas on what I might need to change? My only thought is maybe the pivot pin isn't lined up perfectly perpendicular to the blade and is pulling it to the side some.

The beauty of the second amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.

try moving the scales in a parallel motion relative to the other. Ex. hold knife horizontal move one scale forward.
