Thanks.
The green shroom is made by a dealer over on the UsualSuspectNetwork. They are made from a gitd material and are totally awesome.

Nice gear. How do you like the T-mag? I contemplated getting one, but was unsure about how strong the magnet "lock" was. Do you find it to be adequately strong for general EDC tasks? Any other stuff you could tell me about it would be great. It seems like such a unique little knife. :)

Thanks for the welcome!

I really like my T-Mag. I've heard that some people had very weak magnets while others had some that were stronger. I'd compare my magnet strength favorably with the first batch of UKPK FRN models. Not as firm as the UKPK FRN or a SAK, but firm enough that with my finger in the choil I've never had an issue. Admittedly, all it does is peel the occasional apple, open envelopes and boxes, and snip loose threads or other odds and ends.

It fits my hand like a glove. About the same size as the UKPK, but its chunkier, which I prefer.

I have just (finally) ordered stronger magnets as suggested elsewhere on the board back when the T-Mag came out. I'll let you know how much stronger it is after I tear it down and upgrade the magnet.

If you can find one for a reasonable price, I'd say pick one up. The S30V steel, Carbon Fiber handles, and brushed Titanium liners are all premium materials.

Zed4130- Post #705:
What knife is the blue one? I am going to guess it is a Byrd correct? But I have no idea what model it is.

It would be great if everyone would identify what they are EDC'ing; it would be greatly appreciated for us newbies. :p

Keep the photo's coming guys, I love coming on here to see what everyone is carrying, maybe some day I will post mine.

_Edit: Disregard the above, I didn't realize that the open knife is not the same as the blue knife in your bag. Now figuring that out, what are both knives?

Here are my EDC's. Most of all the Caly3 and the Sage at second place.
The Manix II has to much play on the blade when it is closed, very pity.

Just getting started with this, first post here as well but I've been researching for a while.

Still have a long ways to go before I'm satisfied with my EDC kit, but I think I've got a pretty decent start. Also looking at either 5.11 Tactical Rush12 or 24 in black or a Maxpedition Jumbo EDC Versipack in black or OD green.
