Clip Reversal...What tool?
Clip Reversal...What tool?
I want to reverse the clip on my Zulu. I got out my precision screwdriver set and nothing fit. I thought they were tiny philips heads but I must be wrong.
My eyes aren't that good but, I think they must be some kind of tiny hex key. I don't want to screw up the black paint or strip them with the wrong driver.
Can anyone tell me the proper tool to use on Spyderco clip screws?

It's a type. It has 6 points. Size is typically call like T7, T8 and so on. You can buy a kit like this for cheap.ouchyfoot wrote:Is that a name brand or a class type. What is the general shape of this type of driver?... Sorry...time for a new eye prescription .

Based on recommendations from members on this forum I purchased a Kobalt 8-in-1 precision Torx head screwdriver from my local Lowes for less than six bucks. It has worked great on all my Spydies using Torx screws and provides a convenient place to safely store all the bits.

I have the Husky one from HD also. I got it a long time ago based on a recommendation I think I read on this forum. It has a "lifetime" guarantee (although I hope I never have to try to enforce it with Home Depot). I really like it.

The Husky 8 in 1 Torx driver comes with 4 two sided bits 3 of which store in the handle. One of the two sided bits is T6 and T9, which is pretty convenient for working on most :spyder:
