For those of you in the area this is an excellent opportunity to increase your knowlege and skills. If all you have been to are Gun and Knife Shows do not pass this chance up. You not only get to meet and greet some of the "movers and shakers" in the knife industry, you have a chance to preview new models and concepts and to be a part of the input that changes or makes or breaks their introduction to the mass market. The knowlege gained from the demonstrations of bladecrafting and performance testing are invaluable.
Folks these are the shows to gain knowlege and "forge" friendships and business relationships that will carry you far whether your interests are collecting or bladecrafting. You are free from clutter of guns like the multitude of G&K shows and you WILL go into blade information overload. By all means go and enjoy!!!!
Since NYC is at least a Jovian days drive for me, I can only wish I was there. So go to the show - go to one for the java!
