BUT in respect of USN they can call it Lime Green like with the Jesters
More Toxic Green!
Yes.... but as long as it's from USN.

I don't care if it's produced in Powder process Vascowear ran at RC 62 in one of Sal's ergonomic handles and hand signed by him. I wouldn't touch it with two 10 foot poles.
No toxic stuff here.
I wouldn't let it in my house even if Kristi herself was delivering it! :) That is indeed saying a lot.
One must have standards.

On the other hand, would you be ok with lime green, as on the Jester here? Or, to poorly paraphrase Shakespeare, would "a rose by any other name smell as bad".
To me, they're the same color and, at least when combined with an uncoated blade, it's a reasonable alternative to orange and yellow for situations where high visibility is an asset.

I never do it seems. I've learned how to channel my inner a$$#0!& very well indeed. :)Don't hold back Joe, tell us what you really think.
Paul, If you were talking about a 70 challenger in "sublime" I'd go for it. In knives, That high visibility would make me try to lose it. :DOn the other hand, would you be ok with lime green, as on the Jester here? Or, to poorly paraphrase Shakespeare, would "a rose by any other name smell as bad".
It's funny because I usually don't really care much about looks and am more a steelhead. These knives just don't get it for me though.
If I really tried to rationalize it I guess it would be because I want one as inconspicuous as possible.
But it's really more tongue in cheek than anything else. I don't even pretend to think my likes and tastes are better than someone elses.
I know I have a strange sense of humor that doesn't translate well over the internet. When you can't see someone's face you can't tell.

Lime green is one of my favorite colors so naturally I want to see it used more in Spyderco knives. I think the new FRN Dragonfly is a perfect candidate and I have let Sal know this when he requested new FRN colors for the Dragonfly. Makes perfect sense to me. :D
Now, whether you want to call it lime green or toxic green, it doesn't really matter to me, but restricting the color to just USN knives that I cannot agree with.
Count my vote!
