Kel Tec PF9 owners?

#1

Post by Jowens »

I'm looking at getting one here in the next few weeks. It's an affordable carry conceal, but I've had limited time at the range with one.

Anyone here own one? Thoughts?

Nutnfancy has a nice review on the PF9. I hear great things about Kel Tec from my friends who go shooting a lot. Never really handled one myself though. I have had considerations.

I hate the p9...The one i shot was a "jam-o-matic". I do like the 380 but only as a back up to my glock 23.

Jowens,

The PF-9 is a great option. It's lightweight, 9mm, thin, and easy to conceal. I've fired about 200 rounds through mine and it hasn't jammed on me once.

Perfect for summer carry due to the weight and size. I keep mine inside the waistband.

My gun buddies regret getting a 380 after they handle my PF-9. If you get one, I'd recommend the hard chrome or parkerized slides...they seem to stand up to wear a little better than the blued slide.

Here's a pic of mine in parkerized with the green grip...enjoy.

Prefer Glock 27 or Walther PPS.
