I have this knife

I have a Cricket SS model, no box. Engraved on the blade are the numbers 060. Was there ever a 'limited edition' 'anniversary edition' or 'sprint run' version of the Cricket that may have been numbered? Thanks, Don

It's just a collector's club model knife. The fist 200 pieces of every run is numbered for collector's (actually less than that becuase the collector's club isn't full).
We would rather be the knife in your pocket, because is "works" better, than the knife in your showcase, because it "looks" better.

They say you learn something every day. This is a great forum for Spyderco lovers. Thanks for clearing up the 'number on the blade' question. Don

Only *active* club members get their knives made with their assigned collector number. There is a maximum of 200 allowed in the club but not all spots are filled and it isn't chronological. Some will choose a desired number if available. Only Spyderco knows how many active collector club members there actually are.
