Congratulations, you have just stepped onto a well-oiled slope that leads to multiple knife purchases, sharpening obsession and knife-related navel-gazing!

There's no way back so just enjoy the ride. :D

It all started with the Tenacious for me. Then spiraled from there. Enjoy your new Persistance.

I started with the Tenacious too. The Chinese Spydies are gateway Spydies.

So, what's next on your list?

you'll love that knife. the only thing i dislike about the Chinese made spiders is the crappy g10. build quality is superb though!

This guy has good taste! I have been carrying a Persistence for the last 4 months as my EDC blade. It was also my first Spyderco. The Sage 2 is now on my Christmas list.

Yea, the persistence is going to replace my Crkt m16 10kz as my edc, the 16's ok, but I have to say how dissapointed I was when I dissasembled it & found on the left hand side of the pivot point a nasty cheap nylon washer, that I quickly replaced with a phos bronze that i had spare in the w/shop.the spyderco has a bit more to my liking about it ,g10 instead of zytel for 1 (from what ive seen anyway).

I was very close to getting an Endura, but I prefer a slightly smaller blade, so when I saw a review of the persistence vs the tenatious I was pretty much sold on its little bro.

So many I like the look of, Sage, Manix, Military, Etc.

Have you considered a Delica at all...since you mentioned thinking about an Endura but with a smaller blade?
