Anyone use their forum knives?
My purple Native has stayed in the box, while my girlfriend has used hers for things that would probably make most of us weep. I'm just curious how many of you actually use your forum knives. I would use mine, but I think I'm waiting on Spyderco to come out with a regular production Native with a flat ground blade, so I can use that one instead.

Nope.... safe queen over here. It's a shame, but being the LAST one available online from the SFO AND with such a nice laser pattern on the blade (which would be at least "damaged" if the blade was resharpened), I decided to keep it pristine. Besides, I have SO MUCH other Spydies to carry....
Here it is, together with accessories that were gifted to me by a fellow forumite (thanks for that again!)

That is a beautiful lanyard! I've never owned a lanyard before, but that one looks terrific with the forum knife. How can I get my hands on one?Murdoc wrote:Nope.... safe queen over here. I carry mine once a year for the Sequim Lavender Festival.
Our reason is quite satisfied, in 999 cases out of every 1000 of us, if we can find a few arguments that will do to recite in case our credulity is criticized by someone else. Our faith is faith in someone else's faith, and in the greatest matters this is most the case.

I have one that I carry and use occasionally. This is an old photo of it, the laser etching has since disappeared from edge.

I use my forum knives, even the purple forum native but I'll admit I'm careful not to trash them completely.
Well, it is December 1st and I seriously doubt it now. IMO, I think there are some lingering effects from all the complaining on how sales were handled, so no Forum knife this year anyway.jonUSA,EARTH wrote:sorry to hijack, but I guess there isn't going to be a 2010 forum knife?
Even after all those polls.
Any insight?
