I have some kind of small problem with almost every Spyderco knife I own. For one thing, they can't grind a blade for crap. Every one of my knives (with the exception of 1 or 2) has an off-center blade due to either poor fitting of the pieces or in the case of my FRN Stretch, a hideously uneven grind (which I think is common for this model.) Then there's the thing about the lock bar in a back lock being anything but flush with the tang when open.

These aren't big problems in the least bit, and they certainly don't affect performance, but yes, I do have minor issues with almost every Spyderco knife.
Im not good at sharpening, even with a sharpmaker. How get your blade good can your blade with an edge pro system? - Bladeforums user

So I'm not crazy. I've had two Stretches with that same problem, very uneven grinds. I thought I was just really unlucky. Ironically, I really like the design so I placed an order for a third Stretch, hoping I'll get lucky this time.

All my other Spydercos are perfect.
