My daily carry knife and favorite to use is a Delica FFG (Brown, Gray, or Wave-Blue), but my favorite and most prized knife is this one:

To be honest I've had a lot of expensive knives in the 150 dollar range but the Endura just still does everything for me. Some of that includes a Benchmade 710, 940, and a 550HG Griptilian.
I don't leave home without one!

I won't harp on the Q's and R's since that what really fires my collecting wants. Though I will mention any Ed Schempp design especially the Persians, and The Eric Glesser Dodos. Each time I have one of those in my hand I know I'm holding a quality piece with cutting ability. Picking a favorite Spyderco is really hard since in my opinion, for the money there is no better.
Now my favourite is an G-10 S30V blade Military, it is in daily use.
Sometimes I used to cary my old SS Police /ATS-55 blade/, but the lock of this knife is a little worn-out /weak and ragged / and I trouble about to lock off my fingers...

I had the utility version of a CQC7. The tanto just doesn't do my everyday needs. I have a hard time cutting a sandwich in half with it, and that is literally what I use a knife for everyday when I get home from school.6leafdom wrote:second that! tantos are so tough and useful. my other favorites are military, centofante and cqc8
But yeah overall design, it's really, really hard to beat an Emerson for sheer toughness. Any non-believers will have a seriously hard time at USN. The day I played with one at the knife store was the day I couldn't put one down.
Spydercos are more cost effective though so I completely agree with you on the Millie. It's probably up there in toughness too as long as you remember that a knife is a cutting tool.
