You should tie a long lanyard onto that Barong...looks like it walks real slow...you could tug on the lanyard every once and while if it lags behind while hiking....Doc :p :D

I have only a few knives that I have sold that I regret selling. The Barong is one of them. It grows on you. It's a wonderful knife. I hope that they make it again sometime with Black G10 handles. Either that or I'll try to get one that is still new and pay a fortune. :)

Lovely knife - any views of the terrain where it was hiking? I love being in the mountains :)
My spydies: Squeak, Tenacious, Terzuola, D'Allara, UKPK CF peel-ply pre-production, UKPK CF smooth pre-production, UKPK G10 orange leaf-blade, UKPK FRN grey drop-point, UKPK FRN maroon leaf-blade, Bug ... all PE blades :)

Wow - I think the only Ibex I ever saw were in the zoo or about 1 mile away on the horizon :D I loved visiting and hiking in Switzerland but it seems a long time ago - happy days :)

Beautiful pic ! I loved the barong when I first saw it except for the short(to me) cutting edge. I woulda liked the edge the whole blade length. But I still like it alot! How much does a NIB Barong go for Now any how?
