Woops, I hope Kristi doesn't kick my butt. Doesn't matter anyways because he's sold out.

$219.99 CDN

http://www.warriorsandwonders.com

He did not have them in stock, but was alotted 10, all orders taken were really a Pre-Sale.

Cant wait to get it! and since Warriors and Wonders and myself are both in Canada my package wont get stuck at customs for 3 days as they usually do, lol...

At MSRP they probably won't fill their preorder and will eventually lower the price when they actually have them in stock. I may just put 300 bucks in a frame and set that on my shelf instead ;)

After seeing Mr. Blonde's pics from the Amsterdam show I wanted it, but he does an awesome job with the pics. I saw the vid of it on Youtube and decided $300 could be used for something else. Just really looks busy with all the screws in the handle, and I don't really like damascus blades that well.

Anyone else recieved their C11JBBP yet? I swear it's like looking at a model produced specifically for Paul (The Deacon)! :D

It's got no clip, Ti bolsters, natural handle material (bone), and a damascus blade (ok, it not Odin's Eye, but it's the closest yet from :spyder :) . The blue color is deep too, and the smooth, polished titanium bolsters shimmer irridescently. Mine came in a small zippered case with the SKU tag (ala SpyKer).

Let me know if this post is "useless without pictures!" :p

thats what i meant - they wont lower it, they price listed is the price they were gonna sell it for. they know people will buy it no matter what the price is. some people just have more money than others and pricing is a non issue. paying 500 for a dodo is crazy... unless money means little to you. if you truely want something. to say they will relist it just cause its out of your price range doesnt mean joe blow who makes 250k a year doesnt mind to pay super high prices if he NEEDS it. from what i gathered they are gone from kc, she said today they cant confirm the orders will all be proccessed. i wonder how many each dealer will get. what was sfo msrp again, i forgot?

Sady, that's not the case. First of all the Delica's lack of a usable finger choil puts it off my list. The rest just proves the difference between theory and practice. Ti bolsters would be nice, except for the screws sticking out of them and those weird and incongruous looking milled grooves. Natural scale material, but dyed an unnatural and rather unattractive color. Typically disorganized Japanese damascus.

Wow. So, the wait is still on.

About the grooves in the bolsters, do you prefer smooth only or do you sometimes like the more traditional milling or "dents" (can't remember the right term) like on some Case patterns?

Never cared for the dimpled bolster look, always makes me think they're dented. Roped bolsters, on the other hand, can look good on some straight bolstered knives but would look out of place combined with the modern/tactical look of visible screws.

Ok, so here's some photos of mine. Sorry, I'm so slow in getting these up. They're not Paul's or Wouter's or 2011 Calendar winners' quality, but they'll do.

Here are a few close-ups of the blade. The last one shows the layering as seen from the spine.
