Wow :)

Thanks Sal and Ed for the feedback. I am glad to hear the performance doesn't suffer and that it is a good go-to folder.

I'm looking forward to seeing this in my pocket for EDC and possibly food prep as well. I don't know if I'll use this one in the garden though like I have done with the Persian I :p

Also, Sal and Ed.... are there any thoughts as to whether the similar treatment you are giving to the new C83 will be translating over to the smaller C105 package ??? I am still amazed at the smaller Mini Persian and how it carries very well and is underestimated in its ability to handle pretty much anything thrown at it. A G10 C105 and a bolstered version would be most appreciated :D ... pleeeeeease :D
Cheers

Since at least one of these babies already exists, do you think you can sneak us a picture or two?

Sal? Ed?

yes.
Is prototype made? may be some ideas about time frame. 2010? 2011?
I also know the world does not exist for my pleasure. Still I would like to get new bolstered knife. It would be nice if this will be Spyderco.

I think the official name for that scale material is G11, but if its the same slightly dimpled finish that would be cool.

I can't remember a polished G10 scaled Spydie at all. I've had a couple of custom knives that came with polished G10. Similar in feel to micarta.

Polished Red G10 C83 would be very nice.... but a TRAINER it will not be :D :p

Can't recall handling a Leafstorm. I was only guessing based on pictures. If you're saying it's surface dimpled, then I don't think the Persian will be the same, since Sal said polished. Only "complaint" I have is the same one I had with the micarta - flat scales don't bring out the beauty of either material's grain. Compare the scales of a Persian with the handle of a Street Beat or FB Lum Tanto.

Wow! The red is cool! Looks just like the original. Very nice!
The G-10, FFG looks good too. Better than I was imagining.
