Diego's latest acquisition

#1

Post by Ferreter »

G'day All

Diego has been skittering round the house on tippy toes for the last week, anxiously checking his emails and then suddenly early this week he shot off out the door  Perhaps due to Fred having received a Spydie Civilian recently?

When I got home from work I found Diego patiently waiting on the lounge with a package addressed to me. Apparently he had picked it up from the Post Office. I hadn't ordered anything recently so I was rather surprised when I opened it to find a brand new Dav Winch Custom Folder that Diego had organised for me  Of course Diego insisted that I take photos of him with it:

My (Diego's?) latest Dav Winch Folder

Dav has also been playing around and made some bottle openers

My current collection of Dav Winch knives, not quite as big as my Spydie collection. Yet :D

Diego also wanted to suggest that either of these two knives would make a fantastic Spyderco Collaboration model ;)

That man loves his holes.
I never seen these knives before but like them a lot.
Both blade shapes are nice.

He could just send one of these knives to Sal.
It has the right hole and would be the ideal proto.
I really like the colored handles.

Very nice work, thanks for the great pics and congratulations to Diego, he's a natural born model.
The reversed tantos are nice, but I must confess I'm more attracted to those bowies :)
Speaking of big fluffy spiders... I haven't heard anything from Frank lately. ;)

Size-weight-steel ? We got to know-you kno How is the lock up ? I assume it is a liner lock. I think I met Diego once in a drunken dream.

You know asking for specs gives Diego more excuses to fondle my knives? :D

Dav doesn't really have a website anymore as he's only making knives on an occasional basis.

You can see some of his past work at http://www.davorama.com/

More of Dav's goodness.........I live FAR enough away from Diego to not worry about him trying to snaffle my wee collection...............besides I have a full can of Mortein (well known bug spray in Australia) waiting just for him.........BAD Diego! :D

The edge shots show the various liners, some do some don't...........

Very Nnce spread of Dav's knives Brian :) Diego is a bit jealous but not enough for him to travel across the country to pinch your knives.

Fred on the other hand....... :D
