Para-Military2 - Clarification/Announcement
let's get it out already
closed circuit to Sal: Luv ya man but seriously, what is taking so **** long on the para 2--I'm not sure I even believe it is going to even be a production knife. alomost 2011---let's rock. When will we really see it?
Thanks!
P.S. to Spydie fans: am I being disresprectiful?--**** no, as I have purchased more than $1,000 worth of spydies. I just don't think we will see it anytime soon and would like an honest answer.
Peace, out
Thanks!

The two this thread concerns are sprint runs planned for the future.
released but totally unobtainable
did they have a couple dozen in the store or something?--there are non to be had nationwide including on the spyderco website store.
It is one of the most anticipated knives of the year so people are all over it, if you want one now, you'd better keep a good eye out or just place an order and wait for them to come back in stock.ace wrote:did they have a couple dozen in the store or something?--there are non to be had nationwide including on the spyderco website store.
I'd rather have them make it and take their time to ensure good quality control rather than rush it...
Spyderco isn't a megacorporation who can just suddenly put a couple thousand pieces on the market the moment it's released.
Gray G10 and a new steel sounds pretty frigging SWEET! I might actually prefer that over a digicam.TazKristi wrote: The C81GGY20CP2 is a Para-Military2 with Gray G-10 scales and CTS-20CP (Carpenter's equivalent to S90V). The C81GGY20CP2 will be a 2011 release.

I'll go ahead and ask a question there probably isn't any answer to, or at least none you're ready to give: Are there any plans for G10 color variations that keep the S30V and standard price? And might they come out in the near future, or would they be something to be worried about after these announced versions have been done? As others have mentioned, I'd probably find one in dark blue G10 rather irresistible, but I have no justification for paying to upgrade from S30. It's functionally great as it is, but I'd really like to see some color variety. (Spyderco seems rather blue-friendly lately, so I'm hoping to see some more of it, especially in darker shades.)
Also interested in the addition of the other edges; curious if those will come soon.
