Gayle Bradley question

#1

Post by Johnny11758 »

The Gayle Bradley looks like an extraordinary knife and I'm close to purchasing one, especially since my large hands favor a 4-1/2-inch handle. My question is, are the extended liners even the slightest bit uncomfortable? Are they somewhat rounded--or at sharp 90-degree angles?

I've used mine some. From what I remember, I don't think it is uncomfortable and the edges are rounded. (I haven't carried it for a couple weeks.)

Hopefully someone else will chime in.

Yes, the edges of the proud liners are rounded, polished and smooth. As long as you aren't cutting anything very hard, or your hands are a lot tougher than mine, they aren't too bad. They left bruises on my fingers when I had to fit some high-density particle board cabinets, though. I ended up switching to my S90V Military about a third of the way through that little project.
I don't believe in safe queens, only in pre-need replacements.

What they said - totally agree. Great knife, great value. Go for it - you'll be very happy, I predict.
