I was up and couldn't sleep. Started perusing through e-bay and noticed an online store had the Stretch ZDP189 with Blue FRN handle (I love that blue color Sal!) for $ 89.99 Buy It Now with free shipping! I had to jump on it. I was just cruising around and all of a sudden the listing came up. I think I bought it within the first minute of the guy having it up online.

Anyone have a spare bedroom they can rent out? I have a feeling once the box comes next week, I'm a dead man. My better half is going to KILL me. :D

Pics to follow, once it gets here.

A buddy of mine has one and I love it. I just haven't been able to find it at a price that fit my budget until early this morning.

I think I bought my blue Stretch a year ago I remember paying only $72 +shipping from KC. It was my third Spyderco I believe. Wow, the price on this model has gone up. It's a great knife, a super slicer.

Keep domestic peace though. Without that you'll be miserable although you probably know that already.

Want to get a stretch in vg-10 now....lolol

Yeah, the cheapest I have been able to find it online was around $ 93, then when you add in roughly another $ 10 for shipping, it's back up over $ 100. So I figured I'd jump on the $ 89 plus free shipping while I had the chance.

And some places have them for almost full retail price ($ 155 +), which I don't see how they ever sell when there are places that have them for $ 40 to $ 50 cheaper.

As far as the boss goes:

I took her to her favorite restaurant tonight and buttered her up before letting her know a package was coming. All I got was "great. There's a new outfit I've been wanting at the Mall, so guess what we're doing tomorrow!". DOH!
