Hi guys,

I've been lurking here quite a lot the past months but wasn't able to register, thanks to Kristi that problem is solved.
I'm Raymond from the Netherlands, Europe...Yes another Dutchie :) I became a serious Spyderholic over a year ago and started collecting carbon fiber models such as the old Cricket, Harpy and Delica but also recent models like the Zowada and Manix.
I'm a regular visitor at Messenforum.nl (Dutch forum) and Bladeforums. In time I will add some pics of my knives and for now enjoy the vast knowledge that is found here, thanks to all. Not to familiar yet with all the forum "slang" but I'm working on it ;) .

Stay safe & best regards,
Ray

Not sure about everyone else, but IMO this is the most civil forum there is out there. I enjoy visiting other forums but there is some hostility that I dont ever really see here.

Welcome aboard!

There are a few boards out there that have very little hostility (mostly manufacturer's forums), but they are few and far between.

Quote from R@y: Not to familiar yet with all the forum "slang" but I'm working on it.
It doesn't matter if the knife is CF or FRN, G-10, PE, CE, or SE, VG-10, ATS-55, Gin-1, CPMS30V, or H-1 if it's for EDC tasks or purley for SD. The bottom line is if you are ELU or a Spyderholic there is only one cure....That is to buy more knives....FWIW this has been a short tutorial in on line knife lingo talk :p ...LOL...Welcome to the forum and good luck trying to figure out what I am saying...LOL.....Enjoy the forum and I hope you stick around long enough to figure out what I'm saying....Just kidding!...Glad to have you on board....TTYS...I'm bad...I know :o Doc :D

Hi Joel, it took a while but you know the reason ;)

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome. I used the word slang but I meant lingo, sounds better right?
@D. Snubnose, IIRC this is what you say:
LOL = laughing out loud
EDC = every day carry
SD = self defense
ELU = end line user
FWIW = for what its worth
TTYS = talk to you soon

Not sure about ELU but its pretty close I think.
Glad to be on board :cool:
