Couldn't have happened to nicer Fake

Im sitting in Cedar Rapids, Iowa airport and see this knife that has been confiscated - and used as example of what not to carry. From far away, I thought how tragic that a Spydie has to live this way...but then I got closer and saw that its a FAKE! Justice is served!

haha I always try to find those boards and see what kind of knives and other things are on them...

My favorite is the grenade that is at Mid-Continent Airport here in Wichita. Just cracks me up every time.

Can't believe someone tried to smuggle a snow globe on a plane out of Iowa, hope they locked em up ;) I have seen that board in Wichita as well, crazy stuff.

Something tells me planes can't possibly be safe if they can get hijacked using a snow globe and a can of hairspray. And toothpaste? Oh my GOD! Someone could whiten our teeth!
Seriously. In an environment that dangerous, knives on all passengers should be mandatory.

It always amazes me how we manage to survive the day out, surrounded by so many deadly objects on a daily basis
My spydies: Squeak, Tenacious, Terzuola, D'Allara, UKPK CF peel-ply pre-production, UKPK CF smooth pre-production, UKPK G10 orange leaf-blade, UKPK FRN grey drop-point, UKPK FRN maroon leaf-blade, Bug ... all PE blades :)

Um,the hairspray could have gas inserted that harden the explosion, ever heard of hand granade and oxygen tank combo,or just poison gas, cionide in gas form O_o.Ya tooth paste may seem like it but could be packed with plastic explosives like c4. I'm clearly not the terrorism expert out there but if I saw a guy fu*king about with a tube of tooth paste, mixing stuff together and pulling a detonator from his *** :D I would probably punch him IN DA FACE!!!

I completely agree. Take the hairspray. Take the snow globes. Take the water bottles, and the toothpaste, and the bic razors. While we're at it, let's just make everyone travel on the plane in the nude. Because shirts and pants and belts can be made into garrotes, glasses could be made out of steel and used for stabbing, and who knows what's hiding in that carry on luggage. Pens could kill someone, for cryin' out loud!

And after we've stripped everyone down, let's make them wear nerf pads around their fists and feet to keep them from punching or kicking their way to the cockpit, and muzzles to keep them from biting each other. And gosh, aren't people just so violent these days? Let's flood the cabin with a little bit of chloroform to sedate them. This plane's a-gonna be flyin' hiiiiiiiiiiiiigh!

Or we could give everyone guns and knives and tell them if someone gets out of line to subdue them. Which seems like the easier choice?
Driving. That's what's the easier choice -.-

Sorry if it sounds like I'm being cynical. I'm just trying to be funny, is all. :D No bitterness here. I just think that flight security is going overboard without a parachute. lol
