Great to see this is still the case. ;)

Finally broke down and ordered one of these little beauties (been holding out for a CF or old Tuffram one). I love the etched version, but SE sure would be awesome! Either way, I'm hooked on this LBK gem!

Bulky Cricket handle for my liking

Post by JD Spydo »

I wasn't a huge fan of the Cricket until I got the Carbon Fiber scaled version of it. Although I wouldn't mind trying out a G-10 version of this super classic.

Most of the time a small folder does me very little good for what I use a knife for. But there is something about the Cricket model that truly sets it apart.

I know a lot of you all like the thinner handle scales but personally I would like to see one even thicker than the Carbon Fiber version.

It's hard to think of the Cricket as a "little Civilian" model but that's exactly what it is. JD

Tempted to buy one in SE myself. Handle material is not too much of a concern. All of those curves are downright sexy though..lol.

I just got one two weeks ago and love it.

I plan to get it decorated in some way (ideally with mammoth ivory, but perhaps something else) but I'd still kill for an H1 Cricket.

I love the Cricket in all of its variations! I love the SE on this model, but PE works just fine as well.

A truly outstanding knife. The single best knife for opening "blister packs."

It sure does make a great blister pack opener and it's always in my pocket for those type tasks as well as my long time money clip. Used it the other day to cut out an outlet box in sheetrock and was surprised how well it worked for an accurate cut. Of course I had to remove my one dollar from it first :(

I'm sure you meant to say best in current production. Hard to beat the dodo for blister packs :D
