Any chances of a black FRN H1 Ladybug? I've got the black 1st gen partially serrated, 2 Yellow H1s and a black FRN Jester. I EDC the H1 but would like black since it's more inconspicuous.

Id be in for one of these especially if it had micarta or G10 as redyps04 suggests! But FRN is fine with me to keep it light.

I really like the "full flat grind" part, but I suspect that ffg along with the use of premium steel and/or G-10 would push the price point above what I'd care to pay for a knife that size.

sal how about digi cam or another camo color. like white, black, grey... what is that called again? not urban camo, what is it?
im cool with any new steel/handle material - ti, g10, burgundy? with like zdp or s30,90,110v or a black blade?

edit: how about BLACK ZDP blade and TAN FRN!!!!

I'd take a green frn zdp ffg in a heartbeat but it would also probably be a good first exotic Ladybug to go with a different handle material.

No matter either way, I'll be happy :) . Just thinking aloud. British Racing Green micarta...*drools*

There's always the RIT dye method, if you feel so inclined to have a DIY black H1 ladybug. Others who wanted a black handle on other knives have tried it out and found it quite durable.

Sal,

I really like the idea of ZDP and FFG. I think the bright blue would be cool but I also like "SmoothOne25's" idea of digi-camo or the semi-translucent G10 (G11) like the LeafStorm or even better a GLOW IN THE DARK version. :D Just some ideas out there

Love the idea of a glow in the dark Ladybug! But can you make FRN Glow?

I'd like to see the new D&E colors offered for the Ladybug. I would also be in for a FRN Burgundy ladybug in a heart beat.

Hey Knifedude.

We probably won't make another orange one, at least not for quite a while and we'd have to change something on it to make it different.


Also, our current thoughts re to make a color and just keep it rather than make it s a sprint. The purple one will probably hang around for a while, as will the yellow H1 version.

The new version with the larger thumb hole and VG-10 is a very functinal cuting tool that seems to be socially acceptable in most areas.

But as long as you started the thread, let's discuss adding another color. I thought about a bright blue, but I'm open to your preferences.

Any interest in a ZDP version, ful flat grind, British Racing Green?

A full flat ground blade would be very nice, as too colors did I mention Orange :cool: ! Camo would also be great.

Thank you to all that have replied to this thread. There have been alot of good ideas I just can't think of a color that I would rather see than Orange. :D

What Sal said sounds great - I think brown FRN would be great on that, too. It looks more elegant and earth-toney, just like the dark green.

Toxic Green would be pretty sweet (with a black blade even better), since I can't find a green Jester.

How 'bout clear frn...is that a possibility? I like the toxic green idea too.

Bright blue wouldn't be bad, but I'd still love to see a medium blue or even preferably a navy blue frn.

How about an H1 hawkbill to go along with the VG10 hawkbill?
