Probably a "lunchbox special". That seller is either an alter ego or an associate of the seller we call "Dr. Frankenspyder". They list a lot of highly questionable knives, and both list locations a stone's throw from the Golden plant.
I don't believe in safe queens, only in pre-need replacements.

I think this seller has been flagged as selling fakes in the past.

The clip doesnt look right. Its also missing the other hole that should be there. No telling, but it would seem to be a fake. A good fake though.
I have a small collection.. At least in my mind its small. All respect to Sal and this great company! Collector Club Member #120

That looks to be the very early clips used on the first miltaries before they went to the 3 screw clips. That military also has slotted handle screws, I have never seen those on a military, even the old ones I have seen with the 2 screw clip are not slotted. Looks to be a parts knife put together with some hardware store screws which that seller is famous for. Knife looks real to me but not something Spyderco sold that way.

Given the seller, the knife is probably a collection of real Spyderco parts. Only questions are whether they all left the factory at the same time and under what circumstances. He has a history of selling knives that raise those kinds of questions.

I can see what you mean. But the 2 screw clipped millies of the past I thought had a different look. Had one once, and if I recall correctly it didnt have that crude of a look.

Not only all that, but the pivot is backwards. Wonder if that was done to get the blade to line up.

It does look a little strange, perhaps he had 2 screw slabs and liners and ground down a 3 screw clip, heres a few pics of a real 2 screw older military. Just noticed the backwards pivot, didnt see it before you mentioned it.

I carried a 2-screw clip ATS-34 Military for a couple of years (in 1996 if I remember...) the knife was bullet-proof... but the screws holding the scales together started rusting... I sold it (darn!) and started carrying a Lg Goddard (till about a year ago, and it is back to the Military (old CPM 440V serrated) that is solid as a rock (and hasn't bit me yet)
