Any indication as to when the G10 Native is going to be released?

Hi Yuldeli,

We're doing a "pilot" run now. Probably still a few months off.

This will be a major change in the design and we'd like to make sure we get it right. Refining and improving the lock-back geometry has been challenging.

Once the pattern is nailed down, We'll be making new molds for the FRN version.

Roman,

our pilots are usually about 50 pieces. Assuming all is well, we hold them to distribute with the first run.

I understand that the Native 4 FRN will be Seki-made--or at least the prototype was. Will all Native production be moving to Seki?

Hi 2cha,

All of the Native production will be made in Golden. FRN, G-10, CF or anything else our customers want.

Whoo! I have had a Native III for about 1.5 years now and have really been looking forward to an FRN Native IV.

Thanks for the response. Saw the prototype pics from the Amsterdam meet and I really like the design. Looks like it may be my future EDC.

OOOOPs. My bad. Was looking at proto photo of SuperLeaf instead of Native 4 proto photo (from Amsterdam mini meet spread by Mr. Blonde). :o

At least with the Leafstorm, pilots were sold through SFO a short while before release at full MSRP

Will there also be a hollow-ground version?

FFG is nice, but I really think the original hollow-ground is best suited for the Native and gives it a distinct wicked look.

My dream knife - G10 black Native with the III version grind, the larger finger choil, serrated spine and deeper wire clip. Is it too much to ask? :p
