So, if you don't carry, what's the reasoning? Moral {can't take a life}, Political {don't believe we should}, or Legal {unlawful in your a.o.}?
IF this topic is in any manner out-of-line here, smack my wrist and I'll move on. :)
I know. The stories I read outta the UK are outrageous! The latest was of a LEO, for gosh sakes, being prosecuted for being in possession of two rounds of ammo! :mad:ChrisR wrote:In the UK citizens are banned from owning hand-guns, let alone carrying them![]()
LOL, I'm still a good-guy, but it's been quite a long time since I've wrangled the S&W Forum.Dr. Snubnose wrote:..Victor is one of the good guys running the S&W Forum.
Okay, that's probably the case, LOL. If I could afford it, watches would be yet another passion. :DBlerv wrote:.. I bet more people carry on these forums than expected. It's just in our edc nerd-ery we are more curious about watches, knives and keychain tools.

Yeah, there are plenty of stories like that ... UK soldiers who serve in Afghanistan are not even allowed to bring back knives that they take into the field when they finish their tour... it's just madness.VictorLouis wrote:I know. Seriously though I believe in the right to carry, and I'm a Limey who lives in the states. The UK laws on knives and guns are ridiculous and an infringement of freedom.
