Ti UKPK was really cool too indeed. The CF version didn't do it for me. It looked great, but I prefer the twill-woven CF like the Sage 1 has.

Besides that; Sal has definitely won me over when it comes to the FRN UKPK. I was already extremely pleased to find one in my goodie bag, and have been carrying it since, and I love it. Still not sure about the drop point version though, but I'm not really a drop point kinda guy ;) But the leaf-shaped UKPK that was in my goodie bag will be in my pocket a LOT. :)

WOW!! So many cool knives:

Para 2
Szabo Folder
Superleaf
Sage 3
Caly 3.5

They all scream quality and construction, I wish I could touch them. If I could have only one, I'd like the Para 2. Just wow! Caly ergos with nested liners, g10, a comp lock, ffg and four way clip? Gimme, Gimme!

For me, there were four, pretty much in order of what I would purchase if I had the funds:

1- PE Matriarch
2- Caly 3.5
3- Perrin PPT
4- Schempp Balance

In reality, with money being extremely tight right now, I may only end up with the PE Matriarch this year. :)
I prefer to ask for forgiveness rather than permission.

In this order at least for now.

:spyder: PPT - Think just about every reason has already been stated why I want this one. I am really looking forward to it.

:spyder: Sage 3 - It is surprising to me I don't own any Sage model yet but this one might actually be a tie with the PPT on my new model want list.

:spyder: Large Lum Chinese - No aluminum handles and some extra size. This is a Lum Chinese I am sure I will enjoy.

:spyder: Native 4 G10 - I'm constantly drawn to the Native and own 3 so far including the CF version. Just doesn't seem right to not add this one and it looks like it might be the Native I would enjoy using the most of any made so far.

I like a lot of the others but those are the 4 I plan to get depending on funds.

Hopefully all of these will come to fruition and enough will be made that all of us can have a chance to own what we can afford.

I'm favoring the following in order:
:spyder: Sage 3
:spyder: CFUKPK
:spyder: Zulu
:spyder: Para 2
I'm totally smitten by the Ti UKPK.

To a lesser extent, the Super Leaf and the Big Chinese...

Breeden rescue here! If it makes it into production, I hope the price point will make it a "poor man's" rocklobster.
