Spyderco Amsterdam Meet 2010 Report - Prototype Pictures
I hope all of these models make it to production. My highlights are the damascus delica, matriarch, Lums, Breeden...............****, all of them! gonna be a great year or so for spyderco I'd say! This is just another reason I am completely brand loyal for folders to Spyderco: continuing to bring out new exciting models while at the same time reviving past models that the end line user speaks out about. Thank you wouter for the sneak peek!

Like I said above, if you're not on good terms with your local banker, now's the time. :eek:Jazz wrote:  There're just too many sweet knives... I'm at a loss for words.... I'm gonna be broke! Thanks, Wouter for the service you kindly provide for us all and all the gorgeous pictures.

This has really been one of the most exciting posts of the last couple of months. Thank you again Wouter. I really like the Super Leaf, as I am a fan of the compression lock. I'll also have to get that Sage 3, it looks great and will add to my sage collection nicely. Can't wait to see some new pics.

Sage 3 (Axis Lock)
This knife:

has given me a great reason to unload my numbered Benchmade Mini-Barrage.
I like the mini, but now that I've gotten the Spydie bug, I find the Spyderco ergonomics to be heads and tails over some of the other knife brands I've handled!
(BTW, the Sage 2 CF is my going to town dress knife! I guess I'd have to carry this one on the other side.)

This last batch has about 3-4 of my dream knives. I'm in shock.

Thanks again Wouter for the awesome pictures.
Quick question: Did the carbon fiber of the UKPK feel very slick in hand? I assume it did due to the sheen you mentioned.
Thanks again for the updates, Wouter. You're like our very own investigative Spyderco reporter. :)
Oh, I can't wait for pics of the Para 2.

Thank you for everything you do, Wouter. The excellent pics, the write-ups, the descriptions, everything. I know it must have taken some time. It is greatly appreciated. I am bothered however by one thing. Was the brown Matriarch the only thing there that was fully serrated? I have a fear that Spyderco is slowly moving away from serrated edge blades. I know the SE models don't really sell as well as their PE counterparts so I guess it makes sense to scale back on models with a SE variant. Excellent pics and thanks again :)

Got off lightly with the first bunch. The only one I have to get is Schempp's Balance.
Also must have the Caly 3.5, Superleaf and Sage 3.
Is the Perrin folder still to come, Wouter??? That's another I would have to buy.

Our reason is quite satisfied, in 999 cases out of every 1000 of us, if we can find a few arguments that will do to recite in case our credulity is criticized by someone else. Our faith is faith in someone else's faith, and in the greatest matters this is most the case.

It's as though I dreamed in Spyderco, and the knives just materialized. There is too much here that I want to comment on. +1 with tony on a 2010 forum knife like the clear FRN Manix2. One word came to mind when I saw the Kiwi Slip-it: Etching. The matriarch looks like something my wife co uld definately appreciate in particular. I am excited upon seeing most of these prototypes.
