Mr Blonde's Bunch
Wouter,
Very cool Meerkat pictures! Something really new. I like it a lot.
I guess having that much snow in your part of Europe is not that common...unlike here where I live. We just got close to two feet of snow over the last few days. My show blower got a lot of action!
Stay warm!
Mark.

2008 Prototypes
I just finished uploading new old pictures of the 2008 production prototypes that were shown at the 2008 Amsterdam Meet. In the past I had to take them down after a year due to storage limitation. For the foreseeable future, I have no storage limitations. :D Here are some of the better shots I was able to take under 'field conditions'.

All protypes I shot can be found here.

Foliage Green Chinese Folder

Wouter
Wouter,
Your Foliage Green Lum looks great (as always). I was able to handle one on the show, it didn't look that good. Just wondering what is your secret? :)

Roman,
It has been said that Wouter has graduated from the Hogwarts School of Wizardry and thus magic is involved in his work :p
Is it just me or are Wouter's pics getting better :D

Well, foliage green has the unique property that it can actually change color - at least to us humans. I can put an fg knife on a variety of surfaces and lighting conditions and you would believe it changes color. I've seen it change from grey concrete to brownish wood to green (duh) and to denim.bh49 wrote:Wouter,

Apart from that, I always use overcast skies (at a show you probably saw the knife under artificial lights) as my lighting and a wee bit of photoshop to make it 'pop'.

Wouter,
Thank you, I realize light can change color, but I still beleive that what we see on your pictures has something to do with Hogwarts background. :)

Certainly in my case. Wouter and couple more guys here convinced me to buy quite a few knives. :o :Dtonydahose wrote: he has sold more knives for them than their own catalog :D

2007 prototypes
I posted some old pictures of prototypes from 2007. Apart from my crappy photoskills (I didn't yet bring my own gear), two other things stand out. The Samaritan and Bifold prototypes that haven't made it to production yet.
The Samaritan prototype was a double action automatic, it featured a scale release. The button you see, was a safety catch.

The Bifold is sort of an automatic folding SPOT. The trigger inside the finger hole deploys the handle. Yes, the handle. You grip the blade and deploy the handle via the trigger.

Great looking knives. It is too bad that both of them will be restricted.
Samaritan with 90 mm leaf shape blade looks near perfect. I would love to have manual knife like this, jimping on the choil and near hump and wire clip only will increase my love to this big Caly. I think that I even like this little swedge on Samaritan, which is little unusual for me.
