I had 2 great deals with Spydieguys and one that went wrong. My item never arrived here, guess it was lost in the mail ( it was only a clip, so nothing expensive). Not their fault, but that mail contact was poor. They simpy ignored my mails. Some weeks later (after I gave them negative feedback on Ebay) they sent me a mail that they had problems with the person answering the emails.
Anyways, it was nothing expensive and I got the clip from SFO later, but never did business with Spyderguys again.
To be fair: The other deals always were correct and quite fast. I´d prefer them shipping more expensive items FedEx or UPS for it is faster and safer than USPS in my experience, but I really liked the shop.

This forum is NOT the place to do it. This is being done with very poor taste.

As suggested don't dirty up this forum. Take it to Whine & Cheese on another forum or take things up with people in private.

Don't worry about it. I've had many deals with Jess (SpydieGuys owner) and he's good to go.

He treats me very well and I get fantastic service from him and his crew. They are good folks.

I'm saying to say it to the people that you have a problem with. Not broadcast it. Ever read the "Shiny footprints" sticky at the top of all the forums? Read it: http://spyderco.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28093

As of late there seem to be a lot of 'new folks' arriving at this forum and it's just not what it used to be.

The Shiny Footprints thread is worthy of a read, thanks for pointing that out David. Sal has brought this up previously and this is his house and so it shall stay the way he intended this place to be. He's opened up his house to us so we can play in it. Best we all keep our cool and play to his rules and play in it with his toys but in a manner befitting gentlemen/ ladies :)

We all don't agree with 100% of people for 100% of the time. I think if we accept each others differences and rejoice in our variances then the world would be a better place :)

and shiny footprints doesnt mean i dont have the right to say they have wronged me 4 times and i cant say what horrible service they have. i am not bashing benchmade over a hole in the blade. i am saying the bait and switch of spydieguys is well documents. the dozen email i have received congradulating me for standing up to them wont be released, you can pm me and i will edit out the names and show the content from everyone who has been a victim of them...and you dont like us new folks then leave, we will find someway to get over your departure, somehow, someday. lol I WOULD RATHER LEAVE THEN NOT BE ABLE TO WARN OTHERS AGAINST HIM. bbqboy, just delete this thread. none of us will agree over this. everyone has an opinion on this. i guess some people decide some are more important than others. let this thread die, well die again. it was dead and you brough it back up to let eveyone know how it ended. some people think that is too much, i thank you for letting me know how he ended it.

i am crying, crying since i feel bad more people will suffer his bait and switch and by then it wil be too late. this started cause of DL smart a$$ comment, this thread was done and when bbqboy updated us to let people know it workded out it brought the thread to the top again. and new people or people who didnt read it the first time are going to read the thread and see all the negative things everyone said and he doesnt want people to see his shoddy service stated all over again.

i am going to stop coming here. im tired of people like DL and others with there holy than thou hypocrite act. sal, i love your knives and your work ethic. but i am not going to fit in here without being able to have free speech. if i am wronged or feel disrespected i am **** sure going to say something. thanx for the knowledge learned. goodbye.

You Know ...at one time here on this very forum, folks were actually very decent to each other and would always manage to "work things out". Since I've become a member ...I've gradually noticed that attitudes have changed and folks tend to be a bit more aggressive towards others. We had an older crew/members, which I see very few left or active that had a TON of knowledge ...not just knife knowledge, but real world knowledge that had advice that others could actually learn from. Some members here now are way to fast to voice an opinion without knowing all the facts and lashing out instead of getting the proper information. What Happened To Us ???

One thing to consider ...this not only reflect on the members themselves, BUT THE SPYDERCO FORUMS OR OTHER FORUMS Overall. This should be a place to relax and gain knowledge ...It's Not A Place To Bad Mouth Others. There are more Pressing Things In This Life to consider ...Many Of Us Have Jobs and Life Situations That Are Stressful Enough without having to come to a place where you want to Enjoy and See Things That That You've Already Dealing With and Just Want To Get Away From. Seriously, Take A Step Back and Think ...WHAT REALLY HAPPENED TO US and This Place Many Of Us Call Friends, Brother, Sister, Home ..."Family"???

It seems that Jess is a good guy, but i've just ordered 1 knife from him on 11 dec 09 and now roughly about 6 weeks later still haven't got it.

2 days after i've ordered my knife i got a mail from them they said the knife wasn't in stock so i could chose between credit for another knife in their shop or a refund. I asked if i could get a refund. I got an answer that the knife would be in stock again on monday but that they would go ahead and give me a refund.

Because i got a mail saying i would get my refund i didn't look at it anymore and ordered the same knife somewere else. A couple of days after i ordered the other knife i got a mail from spydieguys, saying they've shipped my knife. I immediatly checked my paypal and saw that i've never got refund.

So now i have 1 knife from the other seller and hopefully another one soon in the mail.

I find it pretty annoying that they sell objects on ebay without having them in stock. I can't say they have bad customer service since all my mails have been answered pretty much in the same day but that they offered me a refun but haven't given it is pretty annoying.
