My best deal as of now i geuss would be my 2 new kris at $115 a pop. Both in excellent shape. Saw these for way more. Wish i had gotten the shabaria deal I needa go look at the T.V. stores around here. Sometimes people just overstock knives and can't get rid of them. Also the Forester for 120 was a **** of a deal if you ask me.

My "freebyrd" (any Lynyrd Skynyrd fans out there?). My dealer forgot to charge me for my Caracara Rescue that I Wharnied - I phoned him and told him, and he said, "don't worry about it". He knows how to keep a customer. PM me if anyone needs his particulars - he's in Calgary, Alberta, Canada (that iglooed place up North) ;)

- best wishes, Jazz.

While buying an old coaxial Coral speaker at a garage sale, I asked if they had any pocket knives for sale. The woman I was speaking to looked thoughtful and said that yes, there were some in the garage along with fixtures from her late father's store. After taking care of another customer, we went into the garage where she pulled four dusty boxes from the corner. Each seemed to have about four dozen assorted knife boxes and a little less than half were old style Spyderco boxes. I asked how much for all of them and after a pause she replied that I could have them for $50 per box. I pulled out my wallet to see how much money I had, but before I could count it, I woke up.
Our reason is quite satisfied, in 999 cases out of every 1000 of us, if we can find a few arguments that will do to recite in case our credulity is criticized by someone else. Our faith is faith in someone else's faith, and in the greatest matters this is most the case.

Bought - an old style SE Spyderhawk. Received - an old style SE "Upside-down" Spyderhawk.

Back years ago (2002ish), Smoky Mountain Knife Works used to follow the old clearance paradigm, where they'd put all the discontinued stuff up for sale on righteous deals. I snagged a Calypso Junior lightweight and a Navigator but I remember folks raving about picking up Ayoobs, Shabarias and other classics for closeout prices. They wised up however (at least when it came to Spydies) and realized that disco'd Spydies usually INCREASE in value. So they quit "clearing" them out. Twas great while it lasted.

My best deal was a number of years ago. I purchased a Blue G-10 BladeForums Native PE and an "R" PE (both NIB) for $140. I'm sure either one would now sell for more than my original purchase price for the pair. Deals like that don't come around often :(

$6 each for used Rescue Jr and SE Delicas - a little dirty, but still in fine shape.

$20 for a brand new Rescue. No box, but pristine condition.

My wife scored a pink Native for 10 bucks! in great shape, too. She got it at a flea market in VA.

Please do not get mad at me. I was not planning to sell, but I could not pass up the deal. Someone offered me a little over twice what I paid for the Purple Forum Native. Doubling my money in about a month equates to a 1,200% return on my investment. I thought this was a great deal. I think it turned out to be a win-win solution for the buyer and me. I was able to use the additional proceeds to purchase a Sebenza, and someone who really wanted the Forum knife (and would probably appreciate it a lot more than me) was able to get one.
