Hi Sam, thanks for the pictures with the urban. How does the new Dragonfly compare to the urban? witch one handles better? I'm very interested in both of them, witch one do you recommend to buy of the two? Thanks again and enjoy your beautiful knives!

You know I think we are all different and like different things. I have always been a big Dragonfly fan cause I like smaller knives. I live and work in a city/office environment and don't need a huge knife.

With that intro out of the way, I would almost say if there were a lock on the Urban's, it would be my perfect knife.

But it doesn't and the Dragonfly is very nice as well.

Hope that helps.

I just got mine in this weekend. I'm very happy to finally have a left-friendly Dragonfly. I always like the design, but the clip placement always proved too awkward for this lefty. The clip switch was easy to do too.

Speaking of the clip, I am glad to report after carrying it a couple of weeks that the clip allows for deeper pocket carry than the old FRN version. It's no Urban deep carry but it's a lot better.

Any idea how the carry depth compares with the stainless handled version? I've always liked the Dragonfly except that the end of the handle protrudes so far above the top of the pocket.

Can anyone post a thickness comparison between the Dragonfly FRN and G-10 models?

I have mine now, and I think the clip works great. The knife is very light, and this small clip holds it very securely. Perfection! :D

I got mine yesterday (thanks Tom) and I hate to say it but, I'm not lovin' it.
The grind on the top edge of the blade (swedge?) is SO severe it looks like a mistake. It *almost* touches the hole.

My trusty SS Dragonfly that I EDC'd for 4 years has almost the same exact grind but it goes with the look of that knife. It matches the bevel of the stainless scales, it glimmers in the sunlight as you move it around.

On the G10 version, G10 being a more tactical, utilitarian look, a pure FFG would have been much more appropriate. Like the Urban!

It is still a fantastic little knife, a jewel to look at and a joy to hold, but the swedge makes it a 9-out-of-10.
