The Deacon wrote:Don't think there will be Collectors Club pieces. Far as I can remember, there were none on the last couple. Back when all the Forum knives got ordered in advance and numbered individually, collectors could as for their number, but even then, it wasn't automatic.
The last few forum knives came through the collector's club also.

I got one! I mistakenly thought it was going on sale on Thursday. The "forum knife on ebay" thread clued me in.

Sal/Kristi - Thanks for the special knife and the discount!!!

We have 26 Spyderco Native Forum Knife 2009 PlainEdge(s) in our inventory. You may only order 26.

Would be great if Spyderco sold out in one day! That gives hope for future forum knives!

They did but if memory serves they were planning on doing 2 runs of 300 for the USN in the first place. (Deacon, Kristi, correct me if I am wrong)

I thought demand would tail off and the last fifty would last for a few days, but I think this countdown is pushing word-of-mouth and repeat sales.

It may be too, that the pent up demand for a FFG Native less pricey than the carbon fiber Native 4 is having an effect.

13 left (2:37 PST). I hope Agent Starling got one if she was planning on it...

I feel very fortunate in having gotten in on this one, my first Spyderco forum knife, and my first Native.
Many thanks to everyone at Spyderco for having made this possible, and having made it available to forum members at a discount.

Wonder if there'd be enough interest to make another batch worth Spyderco's while.
