This is indeed sad news. My condolences go out to his friends and family. Mr. Centofante was a true master of his craft, his influence and artistry will be missed.

This is heartbreaking news. Frank always had a smile for everyone and opened his shop to anybody interested in learning knifemaking. He gave more time, advice and mentorship to all knife nuts than anyone I know.

I called him the God Father of Knifemaking. Always made him blush horribly - I don't know if he liked it or not but several of us at Spyderco would tease him and line up to kiss his ring like he was the Don of Knifemaking, The Patron of great folders!

My condolences to Sue, his family and anyone who knew him. He was truly a remarkable man and knifemaker.
