I built up courage........And bought the Pink Delica

#1

Post by Blue72 »

I have always liked the Pink Delica, the stainless clip and blade make a nice contrast with the Pink FRN Scales. However, I could not see myself carrying a pink knife, so I tried to convince my wife for the past 6 months, but she says the delica is to big for a girl to carry.

I figured if I can wear pink polo shirts why not a knife. Well I am glad I picked one up, it makes the knife look less threatening especially living in NY.

Any chance of a sprint run of pink ladybugs?

I had a pink delica but traded it off... Now I regret it.

I slapped a black clip on it and it looked super cool!

Good for you, dd61999, the Pink Spydercos are great. And they cut just as well as the other colours! :) But every time I give my wife another one, I feel like Homer Simpson giving Marge a bowling ball for her birthday. :D She really likes them, but somehow I seem to end up using them more than she does.

George, excellent collection of pinks. And your photos are fantastic as usual. Thank you! :)

Lotsa pink in there! I was going to get one of the pink natives and still might. I will also be wrapping my swick with pink paracord for breast cancer awarness month.

As for girlfriend :spyder: 's, get her something small, stainless, and PLAIN EDGE!!! I cant count the number of times I have been told the full SE knives are "ugly"

I like the pink ones - I'd love a ffg delica4 in pink :) Is there such a thing, or would a transplant be necessary?

....a percentage of sales from the pink Natives go to breast cancer research. All the more reason to own one. A great knife from a great company. Thank you sal !

The Pink Delica 4 was never made with FFG, but Tom Krein can do one for you. He did one for me, and now it's the sharpest Spydie I own. My cardboard boxes will never make fun of pink knives again! :D
