One thing I know. The Browns are gonna suck again!
David, It's been a long time since the "cardiac kids" were giving us some of the most exciting games I've ever seen, especially against Denver, but they are still ahead of my Detroit Lions.

Talk about sad Sacks. I honestly think Detroit has a curse against them or something. Maybe the Ford family has too many skeletons in their closet, or whatever, but every time we get some talent, next thing it's "out for season due too..."

Heck, twice I've watched guys get paralyzed while watching their games. Makes me wonder.

The panthers are ok though. Good old fashioned smash mouth defense, and big , farm fed southern boys. Joe

Hey Ken, We sent you Shaun Rogers two years back. He was detroit's best player. At 6-4", and 345 lbs, he qualifies as big, and was pretty country. At the NT spot he's a house. When he gets fired up, he's a bear, and can wrist toss 300 lb guards.

For about two plays, then he has to rest one....

He led detroit in Sacks ( and blocked field goals. He can Dunk a B-Ball), while playing from NT spot despite being doubled and tripled every play.

The cornerback we got in trade was cut after the first season.

That's detroit for ya.

Yeah, and for the GB game he was out, just a precaution..... Hmm.... Yesterday they had him lifting a 10 pound medicine ball. Oh boy!

You're right, though, he's one of the better ones here... I just wish we played that kind of football. Browns Steelers games used to be something special. Now Pittsburgh doesn't even remember we're in their division...

But really, it doesn't matter what kind of talent we have. We will find a way to lose. We coined the phrase 'snatching defeat from the jaws of victory...' Give us the best quarterback playing today and we'll have him out of the league in three years!

Honestly, I've pretty much stopped caring. I watch the results on the evening news...

But I guess you are saying we should have like an anti Superbowl? We can battle for LAST place??? Loser take all?? :D I like it.

Favre

Since I thought the Jets were stupid to sign Favre last year, I'm not sure there are enough adjectives to describe how really really really stupid Childress is to sign Favre with the Vikings.

Favre may win a few more games for the Vikings, but he'll be an ineffective physical wreck by the end of the season unless Childress plans to have him play every other game. He'll destroy the locker room with his self-centeredness.

I actually like Favre, but the childlike joy of his play, that is so fun to watch, is accompanied by childish narcissism.
Our reason is quite satisfied, in 999 cases out of every 1000 of us, if we can find a few arguments that will do to recite in case our credulity is criticized by someone else. Our faith is faith in someone else's faith, and in the greatest matters this is most the case.

I'm imagining the press conference after a late-season Vikings loss now.....

Reporter: Brett, did you think the playbook called for improvising a 45 yard throwing across your body on the run into double coverage pass play instead of handing off to Peterson when you needed to convert that 3rd & 2 with a minute left?

Favre: We have a playbook?

We'll Ken, Detroit is a frontrunner for that too, coming off an 0/16 season. :(

I keep on saying I've stopped caring, but for some reason I can't stop paying attention to their activities. Even when I hardly recognize all the new players.

Yep, ready for football!

I'll be rooting for the Dallas Cowboys, although there are games where the only good thing the team has going for it is the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. :)

I couldn't agree more! It's very sad to watch him now.

Water Bug,
You may hold this against me later, but I once burned a Cowboy's jersey (someone else lost a bet)... ;) I take football very seriously.

I'm very sorry tenaciousj, but this week, won't be the week for Seattle. Perhaps next week.

Less than 48 hrs to go till the next game, GO BRONCOS!

i was almost hesitant to mention it kristi, but we get the broncos 1st round pick next year and i am thinking we are going to be in the market for a QB so a HIGH 1st round pick would be great!

It's not good when you're "ready for some football", but your team isn't. :(
