Smart, hardworking, beautiful, likes knives and football too? Gonna have to start a Kristi Fanclub here soon.

Yes, I still like the panthers, and my hopeless case the detroit lions.
I stopped being a Broncos fan when Elway retired. He arrived there the year I did down at Ft. Carson. Man did he have some good games.

I was until the Eagles signed Michael Vick. That dampened my enthusiasm a little bit.

HECK YEAH!!! GO BROWNS!!!! Yes I know they stink, but they are my team, and I'm devoted.

I don't care, I'm just glad football season is upon us again, and hopefullly my Buckeyes will put up a decent showing all year as well.

Heh heh. When I lived in Brecksville, then Browns coach and hall of famer Forest Gregg lived near us. They had a bad season that year.

I do recall him shooting a shotgun up in the air when a now deceased relative of mine was doing donughts on his lawn with his car.

His son, now a college coach somewhere came on the bus wearing his dad's Green Bay super bowl ring.

Someone beat him up and took it. :) . The Bus driver drove to the police station , stopped there and went to get the cops to search everybody.

The Ring turned up outside the bus on the ground, as if someone had thrown it out the window. :o

It was the last time the kid acted so arrogant around the guys in the back of the bus.

The back of the bus was always a country of it's own, with it's own laws and customs enforced by the upperclassmen.

I'm more than ready for football season.

Part 1 of New England's devious master plan has already come to fruition as double agent Josh McDaniels drove Jay Cutler out of town and replaced him with Kyle Orton. :D ;)

Yes thanks, and an excellent start it was for my team too. Strangely though, not one of them (apart from the keeper) ever picked the ball up, unlike that strange "football" that you lot are talking about! ;) :D

Hmm... I may have to seriously consider this as a possibility. Especially considering McDaniels has decided to stick with Orton after his very sad performance last night. How can someone smile so much after throwing 3 interceptions?

It's ok though, soon the Blue and Orange will take them both over and your devious master plan will crumble. ;)

On to Seattle.

I am by no means a Michael Vick fan, and I am a definite dog lover BUT:
People should really keep a proper perspective. Dog fighting is bad. Period. Even though it has been a somewhat common practice in some locales in the past (along with chicken fighting and even some forms of human fighting!). It is still wrong and despicable. This man was convicted and paid a steep price for his crime. MEANWHILE, how many pro players have gotten convicted for drugs, DUI, beating their wives, and other serious crimes directly against other humans and are still out there every sunday.
Professional athletes are paid to win games. There are FAR better people in this world to make role models of.
Perspective, people.

AAAA it started? Damnit I need to get satellite TV again! The first game I ever watched was New England against the Panthers? I think....couple of years ago....so go Patriots! Now I will have to get up at 3 in the morning again to watch the games live!

As a Syracuse alum I have all but officially disavowed any knowledge of the football program over the past few years. You're right, there's no place to go but up.

Amen Brother. It's our lot.

Gonna be tough to top the Tribe's recent moves though.

Both are always building for the future. 3-5 years out. And will ALWAYS be 3-5 years out....

Anyway, the way people are leaving NEO, we may not have pro franchises very much longer.

Is it better to have a team that's horrible or no team at all? I'm just asking....

And Taz.... No, not really ready for it to begin all over again..... Sorry.
