hey Wouter,

Nice clip on youtube, just a little bit sharp to use as a windvane.
Not a real steady wind in your garden.

I also noticed that after I was done, the wind would play with the Poliwog when it's on its spine, like a regular weather vane, check out this clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Axk5YhgM_4

Mirror pics are easily amongst my faves, great shots mate! ;)

I've really got to try that.................. ;)

I've had a new camera for 4 months and still haven't shot more than a handful of pics but then again my wee old Kodak is sooooooo great to use!

Yep, I know. I decided to leave it as is, it's a nice little 'easter egg'.

Thanks guys. I'm really happy how they turned out. I don't think I'll do more though, as I feel it's whynot's niche.

Woulter,
Your latest pics left me speechless!!! They are such a beauty!
You raised the bar once again. :)
And BTW I would be honored to share "mirror niche" with you.
As your video shows there is a reason I do not have too many mirror pictures of the knives upside down. Very few models are as balanced as Poliwog and even the slightest air movement is always a problem.
Thank you again!
Mark.

Great You Tube video! More evidence that Wouter is really James Bond! :D (It even had James Bond-like background music). You've always got the coolest gadgets around. And I especially liked the "Cast" credits. Well done sir! :)

Thanks doc. At first I cursed at youtubes audioswap, but it contains something for all occasions. I think this soundtrack ads some humor.

Practical reasons, I don't like monitoring too many discussions. Youtube is strictly a storage facility for me. The embedding feature isn't working in this thread - perhaps it's too long - a bug of sorts. I usually make a video for a review or preview, and then open a thread in general discussion. This was just a video quality test.

Hi Wouter,

Nice collection! Looks very practical.

What is you opinion of the Sonyericsson? I am looking for a new phone and this one seem to have the features I am looking for.

Thanks!

I absolutely love my SE C510! I used to go the smartphone route, but never really did like the bulk or to actually read or edit office docs, and the battery would go fast. I decided I needed a netbook for when I really wanted a computer 'on the go'. With the C510 I can get everything out of it, very fast: internet, photos, music, e-mail, movies etc.. Input is not as a fast, no qwerty keyboard. The C510 is nice and pocketable though and it doesn't break the bank. The screen quality is also very nice, but that's the case with most SE screens.
