Bit of Walker and Terzoula in there. Interesting shape.
Ask me where I got my awesome SUPERHAWK!

More like Mid-Cal now

Yes, what is this "Stretch" thing we keep hearing about? :p Until we figger that out, I think the de-Waved D4W actually looks pretty nice.

The only reason I wouldn't want to have it done to a non-waved model is that it would end up cutting off some of the Spyder logo. Gotta have that......unless I replace it with a Krein logo. :)

And yes....it reminds me of the Hunter, Executive, Pro Grip, and Terzuola very much. I wish the non-waved Delica looked like that instead of how it does look. I like the pronounced hump and the more spear point blade.

I've thought about it a million times. I regularly cover up the wave with my finger to imagine what it would be like.

I like the blade shape of the D4W much better than the regular D4. Maybe one day I'll get another and try it.

Come on, maybe he'll promise to buy TWO and leave one unchanged? :D

The more I look a the pics, the more I like it. Looks really classy. You just have to forget the fact that it acually was a great knife BEFORE the customization, too :) but as I said, there are plenty of them around, so the world doesn't lose some precious NIB holy grail.

Do it already ;)

I didn't do an awesome editing job but I wanted to see what a D4 Wave would look like without the wave and just a nice rounded top of the hole.

I like it so much I'm considering getting a wave D4 and having this done. :)

Whatcha think?

Well bro, that looks real, right good! I've held mine up and blocked off the wave also, but that pic pretty much clinches it - the dropped point Delica is beauitful and I love the hump. I have the waved Delica and Endura, but don't at all use either, so maybe... man, I'm just not too sure of the wave - not the best to retrieve without the wave-opening, and really, a Spydie can be opened quick and sure enough with the hole. One or the other - the Delica or Endura - maybe I'll save the Endura's wave. Thanks for the picture and the boost, Dave.

- best wishes, Jazz.

I just think the blade shape looks ultra classy compared to the normal D4 blade shape. I am going to buy a D4 Wave to have this done to. That way I have the nice grayish handles and a one off blade too. Heck maybe I'll have the blade shape done to a FFG G10 Delica 4 and then have black G10 handles put on it. That will look elegant.

....'Course, I just dropped some good coin on a ZDP-189 Lum Chinese so I'll hold off for a little bit. Gonna try to carry the Lum as an EDC knife for a month and see if I can do it. :)

Well, I'm sending a waved Delica 4 off to Tom in about 3 days. I'll post back with pics of the real deal when it's been "de-waved". :)

Gotta say, I've seen people add waves to knives that weren't intended to have it (Yojimbo, Dodo, etc) but I've never seen anyone remove the wave from a waved knife. It doesn't look half bad.

So much coming from SpyderCrew lately with variations including grind..... maybe they'll do a spearpoint D4/E4 sometime? Very cool. Might have to send the E4W to Krein.. that would leave me with a waved E4 when the Caustic Green E4W hits this fall....

I like that alot. I'm not saying I dislike the regular D4, but you're right, this does look classier. It's not that the regular D4/E4 blades look mean, but this one makes it look less scary somehow.

That 3-legged dog comment was pretty good too, even if I don't agree in this case.
