Now this "embellsihment" would be odd enough if I'd been in Wisconsin when I took the photos, or even if the car were registered to a Wisconsonite, but I took them less than 2 miles from home, which is over 700 miles from Green Bay and the car has NY tags.

Person has to live in this immediate area. Car is pretty hard to miss and I've seen it hundreds of times over the last few years, either on the road or parked at one of the local markets. Never had a camera with me when it was parked before today.

Gives me a chuckle every time I see it, thought it might give someone else one as well.

From a purely practical standpoint, have to think the helmet plays hob with the gas mileage, even with the holes in the back. I'd imagine it could make driving much over 40mph a bit "interesting" as well.

He sure needs to clean his wheels or have them blasted and repainted. ;)

Now that's love for a team. Have you ever seen the driver with one of those big foam cheese wedges on their head while cruising around?

I'm just wondering if the car has a sun roof and the driver can stick his head up into the helmet....if so that would give new meaning to the word "Crash Helmet"......Doc :D

I'm not sure that vehicle is capable of exceeding much less obtaining 40mph. :p

Favre interceptions and a 15 year old girl in a hot-tub cost them about 3 more Super Bowls.

It's a Ford Festiva, at least 15 years old. Not sure who made them for Ford.

That one reminds me of my first car -- a Chevy Sprint. With it's 0.9l engine (it was the grand-daddy to the Geo Metro), I couldn't even reach freeway speeds at the end of its life (tranny was going). Mine was tan with fake sheep's wool seat covers -- VERY CLASSY! ;)

There's a house near here who's HOA told him he couldn't have an Florida Gators colored mailbox. So he bought a normal mailbox, painted his house bright orange and bright blue stripes, and painted his roof blue with the gators symbol. Next time I drive by it I'll try to grab a picture. It's hilarious.
